HMEC 322 is the pilot’s headset designed by Sennheiser
especially for noisy cockpits. Medium- and high-frequency ambient noise is
passively attenuated by the headset’s closed design and the circumaural
ear coupling. Noise – especially in the low-frequency range – is
effectively reduced by switching on the active electronic noise
compensation of the NoiseGard™ system. Altogether, this guarantees clear
communication and stress-free flying without fatigue. The volume can be
regulated directly at the headset. The boom of the noise-compensated
microphone can be flexibly adjusted and swivels through 270°, allowing it
to be worn on either side. A special connector ensures the correct
polarity in any helicopter. In terms of comfort and versatility, this
headset, also in the HMDC 322 version with a low-impedance dynamic
microphone, is ideally suited for tough, everyday use. A version with
variable impedance is also available.
Both HMEC 322 and HMDC 322 come with coiled cable and
U174/U connector.

HME120 is the pilot’s headset for superior noise
protection and comfort in helicopters.
Effective acoustic shielding is achieved by the headset’s
closed design, which provides optimum passive hearing protection and
efficiently shields the ear from noise. A noise-compensated electret
microphone attenuates ambient noise and improves the intelligibility of
radio communication. The volume can be adjusted directly at the headset.
Soft, padded ear pads and the broad headband make the headset extremely
comfortable. For superb wearing comfort even for hours on end. The
microphone boom is flexible for easy adjustment.
HMD 120, equipped with a dynamic microphone, completes the
model range of this pilot’s headset, which provides a welcome reduction in
rotor and engine noise in the cockpit.
Both HME 120 and HMD 120 come with coiled cable and U174/U
connector. |

KDHC 22 offers the professional pilot integrated safety
due to the active noise compensation of the NoiseGard™ system for pilots’
helmets. Especially during rescue operations, stress, noise, possible time
pressure and poor weather conditions all combine to produce a risk factor
that may have a negative impact on a pilot’s concentration. To ensure that
safe communication is not impaired, Sennheiser has also developed an
active noise compensation system for use in helicopter pilots’ helmets. A
conversion kit specially designed for the GENTEX models SPH-3, SPH-4 and
SPH-5 allows the proven NoiseGard™ system to be quickly and easily
employed. As a result, low-frequency noise is reduced particularly
effectively.
The headphone system has a dynamic, closed transducer and
circumaural ear coupling. Power is supplied from the on-board power
system. The helmet microphone is used for speech transmission. |
