The new Peltor Lite-Com Pro III Atex is a communication headset with high attenuation hearing protection and a built-in short distance radiocom for integration into industrial or professional radio communications systems with New DMR feature.
The built-in radio is compatible with the Digital Mobile Radio standard. It is easily programmed with both digital and analogue channels, which allows it to be deployed in various two-way radio systems.
The noise-compensated microphone is sealed and provides clear communication in noisy and demanding environments.
The headset is level dependent and equipped with a new Waterproof boom microphone (IP68), making it better suited for outdoor use.
The integrated Bluetooth module now supports multipoint, allowing it to connect to both a mobile phone and an external two-way radio simultaneously. The connections can also be prioritised, which determines how the headset will reproduce calls from external devices. For instance, one ear can listen to audio from the phone while the other listens to calls from the connected radio.
The already simple user interface is now even easier to use. With different types of button presses the three buttons on the headset easily controls numerous features while a voice guides you through the process. Naturally the device also still supports VOX for hands-free operation.
The VOX function makes it easy to operate hands-free, while the PTT button allows you to communicate in extremely noisy environments or whenever you need to “push to talk”.
Although the shells are highly attenuated to protect your hearing, it is also possible, through sound modulation, to hear useful ambient sounds, For example, warning signals or a distress call. Two external microphones pick up the ambient sounds to reproduce them internally in stereo.
