Earshot Communications Distance Selling Return Policy
We follow the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 and Consumer Contracts Regulations Law which came into force in October 2015 to handle all sales and returns.
We are happy to take returns but please note the following conditions for returns and amount of refund you will receive for the return shipping.
Return of Items faulty within 30 Days,
If you use an item and then try to return the item back we cannot offer you a refund unless the item is faulty, all items need to be returned in an unused condition unless the unit is faulty then we will of course work with you to resolve your issues, this could be a replacement or refund.
If you are returning the item due to changing your mind?
Yes you will not be entitled to a refund but, if the item being ordered is a special order item you will only be offered a credit against your next purchase with Earshot Communications.
We only take back return’s of items that are unused and unopened for refunds, any sealed packaging that is opened will not be accepted for return.
We will also check any returned items serial numbers against the record of the serial number of the item sent, we keep records of all serial numbers before shipping, if the items serial numbers do not match the sent item serial number then no refund will be given and you will have to pay return postage to get your item back, we also report any illegal actions to the Police.
Please do not open any items like batteries, chargers, headset accessories if you’re looking to return the item as this will be deemed as used and a refund will not be accepted.
Item older than 30 days.
All items sold are covered under the manufactures guarantee, please check the length of this guarantee as each product and manufactures times may be different, if unsure please contact Earshot Communications who will try to assist you, if the unit is still under guarantee we will work with you to resolve any issues, this may lead to the item being returned either to Earshot Communications or the manufacture for a warranty repair, these return costs will need to be paid by you as this is not covered under our returns policy.
Shipping Refund Costs:
Refund of costs of shipping costs if the item back to us if defective, damaged or incorrect item Sent?
You will be refunded shipping costs for the item being sent to you and your costs sending the item back to Earshot Communications, but if the item is found after testing not to be faulty or damaged then you will not be subject to a refund of shipping.
Refund of costs of shipping the item back to us if cancellation or No Longer Required or Changed your Mind?
No refund will be given for shipping costs for the item being sent to you or your costs sending the item back to Earshot Communications, you will only be refunded the cost of the item.
Please ensure the unit is returned in the same packaging as sent and suitable protected, please only send the item back using a traceable shipping method, do not return any unit without a form of tracking as we cannot be held responsible for lost items, once returned and booked back into stock we will be more than happy to refund your purchase price, if the unit is faulty we will be happy to refund the cost of the unit and shipping, if you are returning the unit due to a change of mind then we will be happy to refund the cost of the unit only but not the cost of shipping, sorry.
Earshot Communications Return Policy for Item Purchase from Our Premises,
If you purchase an item from our premises.
Earshot Communications will only offer a credit on items that are returned unused and in the same condition as brought, any item returned must be in a brand new unused condition, Earshot Communications will then only offer a credit against a future purchase.
Any item that is returned damaged within 6 months of purchase date will not be accepted for return unless faulty, the item will be checked and if the damage is found to be due to usage then a repair will be offered at the purchases costs, if the item is returned faulty and found to be a manufacture defect then a refund may be offered after inspection within the first 6 months, if the damage is found to be due to usage or occurred when in use then again the purchaser will be subject to repair costs and no refund will be given.
If the item is returned damaged after 6 months then the item may still be repaired under manufacturers guarantee subject to the length of their guarantee for the product, please check, if the item is found to be due to usage then a warranty repair will not be offered and the purchaser will be subject to all costs.
If the item brought has been damaged and then the purchase tried to repair the item themselves or someone else has tried to carry out a repair, you will not be subject to a refund and all repair costs will be subject to the purchases costs even if the item is still within manufactures warranty period unless the repair can be proven to have taken place at the manufactures approved repair facility.
Any item that is a special order item and ordered at time of visit to our premises will not be accepted for return or credit unless faulty.
